Sous vide to perfection
Breville Joule Sous Vide
Sous vide is the process of cooking food through a controlled-temperature water bath, so the food is perfectly cooked and never under or overdone. The Joule Sous Vide circulator from Breville will heat the water faster than other circulators, is smaller than most, and connects to your smartphone via the app through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. With the Joule, you'll get the perfect rare (or medium-rare) steak before you char it up on your grill. It's foolproof and provides consistent results every time.

Budget sous vide
Anova Culinary Sous Vide Precision Cooker Nano
While the Joule is a favorite among sous vide enthusiasts, the price tag is a bit high. If you want something that's more budget-friendly, the Anova Sous Video Nano is a great option. The Nano option only includes Bluetooth (no Wi-Fi) support, so you can still control it with your smartphone. The Anova app also has plenty of recipes to help you get started with sous vide.
It's smokin'!
These are some of the best smart grilling accessories that we were able to find. If you need some recommendations on must-haves, here are a few of our favorites.
The one that we absolutely would recommend is the MEATER+. This simple tool is not just great for BBQs, but it's fantastic to use year-round! It works with your grill, the oven, the stove, and whatever else you cook meat with. It also has a nice, long-range and is easy to use. Our own Lory Gil gave the original a glowing review.
For perfectly done meat, we highly recommend the ChefSteps Joule Sous Vide, since it will always cook your food perfectly, and it can be controlled remotely via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The Traeger Pro Series 575 Pellet Grill is a nice and affordable smart grill, allowing you to throw your meat on the flames, set a custom cook cycle, and walk away. The app lets you know when your food is done so that you can chow down on that perfectly cooked steak or rack of ribs.
