Huge Google outage takes down Gmail, YouTube, Google Drive, and more

Unable to access Google services? You're not alone.

What you need to know

  • Widespread Google outage is affecting Gmail, YouTube, Google Drive, and other core Google services.
  • Users are unable to log in to their Gmail accounts, and YouTube's home page is down.
  • Google is yet to make a statement regarding the outage.

Google is seeing a widespread outage that is affecting most of its key services, including Gmail, YouTube, Drive, and others. So if you're trying to log into your Gmail inbox or access YouTube's home page and unable to do so, you're not the only one facing issues.

When I try logging into my Gmail account, I get the following error:

We're sorry, but your account is temporarily unavailable. We apologize for the inconvenience and suggest trying again in a few minutes. You can view the G Suite Status Dashboard for the current status of the service.

Other than Google Search, I'm not able to log into or use any Google service at this moment. Google's Workspace Status Dashboard shows that all services are running at the moment, but that will likely be updated very soon.
