Don't be fooled by the $288 price drop on this MacBook. This is a mid-2017 12-inch MacBook model so it's an older machine, plus these laptops were hamstrung by their fanless design and frequent keyboard issues. The only thing going for this machine in 2021 is how thin and light it is, but the M1 MacBook Air is cheaper, not much bigger, and actually has a processor that can handle being in a fanless machine.
