macOS Monterey finally brings shortcuts to the Mac; here's how to use them.

Finally, Apple lets you create shortcuts on Mac. Here's how to use them.

When Shortcuts came to iOS, it was a huge deal. Finally, Apple gave us ways to customize and streamline our workflows and make our lives easier. Now, Mac is joining in on the fun. In macOS Monterey, you can create shortcuts right on your Mac, so you don't have to create shortcuts on just your iPhone.

Any shortcuts you create in Mac will appear on your iPhone as well, and vice-versa, making it easy to edit and create shortcuts on typically the biggest Apple screen you have. With shortcuts, your best Mac got even better. Here's how to create a shortcut on macOS Monterey.

Apple occasionally offers updates to iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, tvOS, and macOS as closed developer previews or public betas. While the betas contain new features, they also contain pre-release bugs that can prevent the normal use of your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, or Mac, and are not intended for everyday use on a primary device. That's why we strongly recommend staying away from developer previews unless you need them for software development, and using the public betas with caution. If you depend on your devices, wait for the final release.
