Ryan Reynolds has shared a photo from day one of shooting for Apple TV+ Christmas movie Spirited, which also stars Will Ferrell and Sunita Mani.

Reynolds took to Twitter this week stating:

Day 1 shooting with one of my comedy idols, Will Ferrell. You'd barely notice this was an @Apple movie!

Reynolds quip about barely noticing Apple's influence on production was clearly a joke referencing the fact he's wearing Apple's AirPods Pro, continuing a strong theme of Apple product placement in many of its shows.

The show also stars GLOW's Sunita Mani who will play Past, one of the ghosts from Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. Spirited is a musical adaptation of Dickens' story, no release date has been set, although you might have guessed it will probably be released around Christmas time and the holiday season.

Yesterday Apple shared a new teaser for season 2 of Ted Lasso, which airs on July 23. From that report:

A number of the cast members talk about how they have heard from people thanking them for the show and how it has positively impacted their lives and how they treat others.
