Available ad-free and without any in-app purchases thanks to its inclusion in Apple Arcade, wurdweb has players use words to make their way to the finishing tile. It's like a cross between Scrabble and crosswords and it's positively delightful.
Check it out:
wurdweb from indie developers Aran Koning and Adriaan de Jongh is a relaxing word puzzle game where players select words from a list and connect them to existing words on the board. With multiple game modes, players will puzzle their way towards a finished tile by putting down words that meet the objective. In Target Mode, there is only one single solution, whereas the Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Modes, players can put down as many words as they can. And there are infinite unique puzzles to keep players entertained with randomly generated puzzles.
Gamers will need to be Apple Arcade subscribers to play wurdweb and it's available for download from the App Store right now. You can play wurdweb on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. That being said, this seems like the perfect game to lay in bed and play on your phone on a Sunday morning!
