WhatsApp is today rolling out further testing for its new larger link previews feature, just one day after making its chat migration feature available.

WhatsApp was testing a new way to present the image preview when you share links, as announced on Twitter one month ago: Today there is news: WhatsApp is finally rolling out this improvement for all Android and iOS beta testers!

It means beta testers can now see larger link previews when sharing links in chats on iOS and Android:

It comes just one day after WhatsApp finally rolled out its long-awaited chat migration feature for moving between iOS and Android.

As announced last week:

WhatsApp has announced plans to finally let users take their data with them when they move from iOS to Android, or from Android to iOS.

WhatsApp is one of the best messaging apps around, but a key feature omission was the ability to switch between platforms. Users on Android have to start over from scratch if they want to switch to iOS, and the same holds true the other way. Well, WhatsApp is now addressing this issue by introducing out the ability to transfer chat history between Android and iOS.

It means users purchasing devices like Apple's iPhone 12, currently Apple's best iPhone, or the upcoming iPhone 13 will be able to hang onto all of their chat history when moving from Android.
